I am super excited to reveal our nursery decor plans today! I asked my good friend Lauren who is a home stager/decorator for a nursery consultation and she far exceeded my expectations! She viewed my nursery Pinterest board and knew I was going for neutral opposed to a theme. Here’s what she came up with…
The color scheme will be a very light grayish green on the walls/rug, a classy black in the crib/poof with a few pops of emerald green and coral (which we’ll get to in a sec). She suggested we raise a long dresser we already have by using fence post caps and painting it white for a changing table – such a great idea!
The bedding, curtains and glider will all be simple cloud white. She also found an Etsy shop with cute, non-baby artwork for some additional pops of color. We’ll also be adding in some rustic wood and bamboo shades for texture. I. love. it.
I was leaning towards either creams/browns or a gray/yellow color scheme and she explained that this will almost be more my room than our baby’s room. It should feel like a spa and make me happy. I would have gotten tired of those other 2 color schemes in 6 months or less for sure!
Of course I want to do it all this weekend soon and Ben wants to do it on a tiny budget, so we’ll have to compromise and piece it together slowly. What do you y’all think of our baby girl’s nursery?

Looks terrific to me! Actually the colors remind me of the light green that we had for our nursery. I really like your coral accent too.
Love it all and can’t wait to see how beautiful you make it! Please post while you make progress.
